Kaomoji

https://ms2.tudocdn.net/162411?w=660&h=456I learned something dumb the other day, and it’s about Windows. The only place I can think to share this information is here, with you. It’s not news that I’m a big fan of keyboard shortcuts. This is especially true while working in Outlook, where I spend much of my day, but any useful key combination that increases efficiency becomes part of my muscle memory. When my laptop updated to Win10 version 2004, I did some light reading to understand if there were any improvements or changes that I would care about. Lo and behold, there’s a new(ish) keyboard shortcut.Let me Ctrl-V to share this ridiculous image:Apparently, the WIN+(Period) keys have always triggered an Emoji keyboard, but now there’s a special section for Kaomoji. WTF is a Kaomoji? It roughly translates to “characters that make faces.” You might be familiar with the Shruggie:  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯So, there you have it. Click on an Emoji or Kaomoji, and it will paste into your professional email or document. News you can use, right?
