Dear Diary

Flashback to the days of writing in your diary - can anyone relate? With any luck, you wrote about your day every night before bedtime, venting about how math sucks, “life isn’t fair,” and that you can’t believe Melissa even SAID that about Stacy! The nerve.

These days, I’ve been trying to do the same, sans the teenage drama and acceptance of the fact that life is, in fact, not fair. I also can’t use a pen long enough without getting a hand cramp, so enter Diarium, an electronic journaling app. I’ve been using the paid version since April, and I kept up with journaling daily for a few months. Then, life happened. Today, I’ve started back up again. Diarium allows you to add your location, photo of the day, emojis, tags, and files, to name a few. I am satisfied even if it’s just a photo I added to the journal entry (I am more of a visual person). It also has a map feature so I can look at the places I’ve traveled.

Diarium is accessible on various platforms: Mac, Windows, Phone, and Tablet. I’ve downloaded it on my Mac and PC. On the Mac version, iCloud can pull up your latest photo. Both Windows and Mac versions save to Diarium’s cloud storage, so they’re always in sync. What do I write about, you ask? None of your business! Diarium is locked with a PIN code, just like the old lock-n-key diary under my childhood bed, so you’ll never get in!

Happy journaling!
