Relaxing, Short-form Poetry About Information Technology

wvd_poemtry

I wrote some very serious poetry about IT in multiple styles. I am an exceptionally titled and renowned sonneteer, so you aren’t allowed to poke fun at my work. Don’t do it. I’ll find out.

Haiku – “It happened again”
Can’t log in today
Password changed, reset it now
Thank you very much

Magic 9 – “Bad news! In the server room”
Servers abound, they sit in the rack
With nary a care in the world
Until the day one generates flak
Causing undue strife amid peace
Admin arrives, poised to attack
Phillips head driver made ready
A thrust, a swipe, a rend, a hack
The blight panacea deftly unfurled
Troublesome beast returned to the stack

Shadorma – “Slippage”
I clicked it
He says without pause
A bad link
Filled with strife
flood of bits to parts unknown
Precious data gone

Gogyohka – “Love is a four letter word (also a four word phrase)”
The golden phrase
A distinct, audible ambrosia
Beloved by the chosen
Vilified by the tarnished
Yes I rebooted it

Tune in next month for my much-anticipated ASMR video.
