What’s better than having one dog? Well, having two! And this guy (thumbs pointed to chest) now has two. Most of my friends give me the sarcastic response, “another one?” To which I reply, “YES. ANOTHER ONE!” I love dogs! Now let me introduce you to my little guy.
His name is Simon Henry and he’s a Cavalier King Charles, just like my other dog, Wesley. The breeder we purchased Wesley from had a new litter, and guess what? Simon was the only dog in the litter. I didn’t know that was even possible, so he must be pretty special 😊. A new puppy is just what the doctor ordered during COVID. He’s keeping us busy and while putting smiles on our faces.
One positive of COVID (and maybe the only positive) has been the number of dogs being adopted. Shelters are empty, and dogs are getting adopted/sold at record numbers. If you’re thinking of pulling the trigger, go for it! They are amazing additions to families and the positive energy they bring is so important during this pandemic. If you’re on the fence (and you’re a responsible human) please do it. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
