Recently, a user asked me about a Microsoft Office business add-on called FindTime, and frankly, I had no idea what it was. Naturally, I became curious and started digging into the Office add-ons in AppSource. It’s an area I’m somewhat familiar with but never utilized. You might be thinking, “what do I need another app for?” and that was my feeling as well. But during my research, I was pleasantly surprised with the value some of these apps provide to productivity and workflow. Here’s a list of some I find useful:
FindTime – FindTime is an Outlook add-in that helps people reach a consensus on a meeting time. The organizer proposes one or more times to attendees so everyone can vote. Attendees see the dates and times that work best for everyone. After a consensus is reached, FindTime can send out a meeting invitation on behalf of the organizer.
Pexels – All the best free stock photos in one place. Create beautiful documents and presentations with free, professional stock photos.
Boomerang – Boomerang lets you schedule emails to send later, helps you follow up on messages that don’t get a reply, and makes scheduling meetings a snap! You can snooze an email to have it reappear later or share real-time availability with contacts in a few easy clicks.
Template Phrases – This simple add-in lets you create a collection of templates for any common question you get. Instead of typing the same text again, double-click your template in the add-in pane. Compose the entire email with a salutation, your reply, and your signature within a minute.
Lucidchart Diagrams for Teams – Lucidchart empowers you and your team to collaborate on flowcharts, ERDs, BPMN, wireframes, mockups, network diagrams, org charts, and other visuals in real-time.
