TapTapTap

This is going to be short and sweet, because that’s how new tech tricks should be treated. They should be easy to learn, sort of impressive, and – most of all – useful.

(Unfortunately for Android users, this is only going to apply to iPhone only. If you’re into Android … well, make the switch already!)

Recently I learned of a new Accessibility feature:  Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap

Here, you can choose what two knocks on the back of your iPhone will do, and a separate shortcut for a Triple Tap if you like. I find the screenshot combo a bit cumbersome (Side Button + the Volume Up button at the same time; quickly release both buttons). So, I set the Double Back Tap to take a screenshot. But there are LOADS of options. Choose the one that simplifies your phone use in some way.

So, there you have it. A new trick!

 

…oh wait! It does look like Android can do this, too.
